Set In-Market Dates as Required

What's New

Previously, the in-market dates fields on activities could only be displayed as optional fields, allowing users to skip them when creating an activity. Now, admins have the option of setting these fields as required, just like any other attribute. If the in-market dates fields are set as required for an activity, users must set values for these fields to successfully create or modify an activity:

Key Changes & Details

• Optional by default: The in-market dates fields for all your activity types remain optional by default, and will only be set as required if you change the new setting.

• Set per activity type: You can set the in-market dates fields as required for each activity type separately.

• Unavailable if there are activities with no in-market dates set: If any activity type has existing activities where the in-market dates fields are empty, the new setting will be unavailable. You will only be able to set the in-market dates fields as required on activity types where there are no existing activities, or where all existing activities have values set for the in-market dates fields.
