Creating a Budget View

  1. Click > Planner > Budget> Budget views > Manage views....

  2. The Edit Budget View dialog box is displayed.

  3. Click in the upper area.

  4. The Budget View Name dialog box opens.

  5. Enter the name of the view.

  6. Click OK.

  7. If you want to make the budget view available to other users, click the pencil icon next to the Access field.

  8. The Saved view access settings dialog box opens.

  9. Choose whether to publish the view for all Planner users or for specific user groups.

  10. Click OK.

  11. In the dropdown list, select the columns to be included in the view. For an overview of the possible data, refer to chapter Presentation of Budget Data. If the use of a secondary exchange rate is activated in your system, you can choose between primary and secondary exchange rate for the standard budget data.

  12. Define the order of the columns using drag and drop.

  13. Enter the width of the columns in pixels.

  14. Choose whether budget data is displayed in the working currency or reference currency.

  15. Select the budget scale.

  16. Choose whether the Year view and Applied configuration control elements are displayed.

  17. Specify whether amounts are displayed with decimal places.

  18. Click Save.

You have created the budget view. The dialog box closes and the budget is displayed according to your settings. Depending on the selected access options, you and other users can select the view in the dropdown list.
